About Me

A bit about my background: I'm from upstate central New York, not far outside of the Adirondack Mountains (Syracuse area). I specialize in building responsive, scalable websites and apps for a range of industries, prioritizing modern technologies and accessibility standards. Skilled in front end technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript), with a strong focus on leveraging frameworks such as React.js and Next.js to build dynamic and responsive user experiences. Additionally, I have a solid foundation in back end technologies including Node.js and Express. I am particularly excited about the tech within the JavaScript realm and more specifically, the React/Next.js ecosystem. Although I've shifted to these technologies, I have over a decade with experience in front end development as well as with PHP (custom WordPress themes and plugins) while building large enterprise websites.

Learning new cutting edge tools to work with is a careerlong process, however, I find that to be a major part of the excitement working in the field.

A couple hobbies of mine include hiking and landscape photography (usually combined). :)
